Ros Şentürk - Committee Member
Ros has spent the last ten years as the English department coordinator for preschool and primary school at Enka Schools which is a bilingual private IB school in Istanbul. At the school, she advocates and supports structures to facilitate mother tongue inclusion in the school culture and community. She graduated with a BA. hons in Social Anthropology from SOAS London and started teaching in 1987 in Turkey. She taught at Doküz Eylül University in Turkey and the International University of Islam, Petaling Jaya, Malaysia, later transitioning to young learners at preschool and primary level for the past fourteen years. A major part of her role over the past twenty years has been as a teacher trainer and teacher mentor for teachers learning content through English.
